BarBocata is one of Barcelona's buzziest neighbourhood bars — a retro-styled tapas spot that's quickly become the go-to local hangout in its part of town. The original is on Carrer de Travessera de Gràcia 86 in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, with a second location at Avinguda Diagonal 343 in Eixample Dreta. Both are confirmed pet-friendly. The menu is built around honest, well-executed Spanish classics: the signature tortilla de patatas (soft, caramelised onion, perfectly runny), pan con tomate, croquetes, tomato salad with vinaigrette and capers, and a tight selection of bocadillos and sharing plates. The chocolate mousse with olive oil, salt, and hazelnuts is the dessert to order. Natural wines, lunch menus, and a consistently warm atmosphere round things out.
